I have a problem with how you guys and other pundits use the word “pragmatic” the word simply means practical but we seem to use it to explain a defensive approach. We often say this coach is pragmatic when he doesn’t have an ideology towards his game approach. Like Mourinho but even Mourinho is an idealistic coach. He believes the best way to break a defense is to be compact and wait for the right moments to attack that’s not being pragmatic. Pep has a foundation for his game but we’ve seen lots of instances where he designed approaches to nullify opponents strengths and capitalize on their weaknesses that’s pragmatism. Not the other way round
