It’s been reported Dembele wants around £600k a week because no transfer fee from credible sources, he has scored on average 5 goals a season and 4 assists . I have nothing against the player but is this really good business , and if he fails how are we going to offload him who will be willing to pay that wage . We have players around the first team we can not move on because of their high wages . I don’t believe we are in a situation financially to buy a player for a position we already have cover in when other areas are in desperate need of signings .

If the club have to pay 1/2 or 2/3rds of Lukaku's salary just let him spend the remainder of his contract not playing. If he goes out on a loan that is expensive to the club and gets injured we are stuck with a huge salary and nothing. Wrap him in bubble wrap for a year and see if he changes his attitude.
I hate to say…"I told you so"… Lukaku joined CFC for the money not the love for the team. I think he was looking for an opportunity to hit back at the club for the way that JM did not consider him as important for the team back then. He should have gone yesterday, the club counts its losses and move on. He will have a negative influence on the dressing room if he stays. He is not bigger than the Club.
You people talk too much . Lukaku has endured a very frustrating season at Chelsea . The least we can do is empathize. The player has to look out for himself. The trajectory he is on is a career damaging trajectory. He went from banging in goals at Inter to a major drought at Chelsea. You don't think that has taken its toll on him? Both sides should think of a way to resolve this amicably, cut their losses and move on if that's the route that they prefer. I personally still think that people will come to regret this rush to condemn Lukaku. He is not a terrible player he is just unfortunate to be playing for a terrible coach who does not know how to get the best out of players. Since Tuchel arrived every single player has been playing worse. Not one player at Chelsea is playing above average . Even Mende that was was going gangbusters is starting to slip. This coach has not made any player better . Even Mason mount has had issue , Jorginho has sunk big time…
This same coach discarded Tammy Abraham…whom Jose somehow has found a way to turn into a beast. I hope Broja pushes to leave Chelsea cos this coach will destroy him . The man has blown throw 4 strikers already at Chelsea. I feel sorry for whoever they are getting next .
Please lay off Lukaku and let the boy figure out how to pick up the pieces of his career while he still can . Antonio Conte could get him scoring , the guy in the Belgian national team Roberto Martinez could get him scoring but he can't score for Chelsea abd we don't see where the problem is ? Really? Personally I still think he can make it at Chelsea and all the people that rushed to crucify him will regret it. In his first season at Chelsea Eden Hazard barely got playing time . DROGBAS first season was at best average…..

@younes…. something I just don't get… why would Rom do what he do? He has never done anything like it at other clubs…. been very professional everywhere….It doesn't make sense for him to act the way he did/does? Why would he want to leave within 3 months after the big transfer? I don't understand what his gain is…. there must be something big going on internally at Chelsea for him to act out the way he does/did… But what? There's more to the story because his behavious doesn't make any sense at all… it is self destructive at best… but why?
