Romelu Lukaku scored in Inter’s 3-1 victory over Bologna Saturday, giving him eight Serie A goals on the year. ESPN FC’s Jurgen Klinsmann, Matteo Bonetti and Gab Marcotti react to Antonio Conte’s praise of Lukaku, the Belgian striker’s performance this year and whether he can lead Inter to a league title.

with the national team is a killer since 6,7 years,58 goals and only 28 years! great stricker.
“He has the pace and power of a baseball pitcher”
World Class but never takes a good first touch and misses double opportunities
Sports, Fashion, Media and Film industry all have one thing in common: Asethetics World stage…The same problem I heard a Talk Sport pundit talked about funny way Raheem Sterling runs playing football (Coming from someone I wouldn't trust to dump rubbish)…What they are really saying we can't stand to look at what's in front of us…I value constructive criticism when it's genuine, real, not cowardly so-called analysis/assessments, and especially not from anyone who hates me.
This did not age well
Yeah… today he did a great job by blocking Alexis Sanchez goal in the last minute to make Inter leave the most important tournament in Europe. Great player….
Lukaku is underrated like Messi
This is an insult to Man United and Lukaku. Conte gotta retract his words!
That would be running back, not quarter back. Google the difference
American quarterback are not known for their pace and power lol
He could not hack it in the Premier league but like Ashley Young he has found his level
Of a Quarter back??????
ESPN is absolutely cringe ? he is a world class striker
if you're not playing in the premier league, you're not a world-class player. Doesn't matter how many goals you score, it's water down league compare to the premier league.
World-class? He is the only option for the position, if Icardi remained at Inter you would never having this conversation. He misses so many easy chances. A World-class would double this numbers easily.
World class players play at their best against other world class teams and players.
Lukaku is a good player but its easy to score against Sassuolo, Lukaku always chokes against world class teams, what did he do against Madrid a couple of weeks ago?
look at the respect he gets from people like drogba and thierry henri, then you know he is great.
Then look at his tally in international games, and in the games he plays for Belgium and see how many times he is decisive (and for the english, compare it to the goals of harry Kane)
Then again look at his start at ManU. He did great there until the Ego's decided he got to much of the attention and decided not to give him the passes every attacker needs.
lol "becoming"?????
Inter is a very attacking team. So it is no surprise that he scores. Even if he is not good he will score at Inter. 2 goals offside against Barcelona in UC just because of him.. But still he is good. He can be more unselfish than say CR7. He even was unfortunate in the final game vs Sevila. The Sevila defender who scored the winner should have got a red for his earlier foul on Lukaku or for the handball in another situation.
Lakaku doesnt seem to be stevies favourite type of center foward, Lakaku been world class for a long time.
Lukaku is already a world class striker, he's a brilliant striker???
Never said quarterback, these guys can't even translate. Conte said, "has the pace and power of an American football player". Where they got quarterback is unclear to me. What is absolutely clear is that there are very very few strikers right now more complete than Lukaku. Most of these pundits don't even watch him play and comment…
Becoming? I believe he is world class now
He is in Serie A.
I always thought he was a great striker and I wasn't sure why Man U sold him, maybe the fee that was offered, but Man U definitely lost something when he went so I can see why they brought in Cavani.
I've to agree YESH. ROM amazing
We all know when he was at united he wasn't great but then again look at united haven't been good since Fergie left. Soooo anyone who is saying that he sucks just looks stupid
