Inter played a fantastic match. They could & Should have used the chances they got. We could have been on the wrong end of this 2 nil line!
Well I agree diaz already looks well on his way to being a top top player even when he comes off the bench in a huge match like that he has an amazing impact like that and firmino just reminding everyone rhat that he is still absolutely brilliant I still can't see many players who the job he does for the team its not all about goals for him and he will still score quite a few goals anyway YNWA ??
Subs made all the difference, Klopp was decisive as always. And experience mattered at the end. Shout out to Niklas Hausler and Patrick Hantschke also, our set-piece coaches. Remember when every set-piece and second ball after was always an issue, ( in defence and attack). Now LFC have set piece cheat codes.

DIAZ…WOW…!!!!!
I taught Diaz done an awful lot that people didn't realise dumfries dropped back really deep because he knew Diaz pace could really upset him keita took up some great spaces between there six and centre backs and Henderson just quickened everything up. I think we all have been frustrated with hendo recent performances but my god out captain came on tonight and showed why he is the captain brilliant shout out to ibou and virgil absolutely fantastic
The King of England wins again! Red is the nightmare of the Milanese. The Premier League is wonderful and continues to bear good fruit! 2 English teams made a good jump to the classification in the UCL!
Do you believe that the re-edition of the golden age of English football at UCL is possible? Golden Age (1977 until 1982 & 1984)
Ive followed this club for 52 years now, Keegan was my first hero. This though, is the best squad Ive seen in all that time and Ive seen some great teams in that time; just in my opinion. Just signs of reaching the team heights of the 2019/20 season now. Superb Euro away last night, epic battle. Just what a Euro knockout game should be. Happy days
YNWA FROM BORNEO INDONESIA ??❤️??❤️??❤️??
diaz pushing mane hard now
I love Elliot. Going to be a wonderful player. But him and Thiago in the midfield is too lightweight. We got away with it against Inter for the first hour thanks to the pace of Van Dijk. Henderson, once again the unsung hero.
This was always going to be the decisive game, if Inter couldn't beat Liverpool at home, then they're not going to stand a chance at Anfield
Remember when we were shit at both defending and attacking corners?
Fluke victory
Calhanoglu played well
Listen carefully from 8:50 It is so spot on. I remember the final stage in 04/05 under Benitez. We won the UCL in the end. We met Bayer Leverkusen in round of 16 and Juventus in the quarter final. After that I felt that Liverpool were unbeatable. We were back in the finest company in Europe. With Liverpool I have seen it all. Especially under Klopp Liverpool can go through the sky. The sky is the limit but under Klopp we sometimes goes beyond. I mean I expect Liverpool to reach the UCL semi final. Might have been vs Augsburg UEC and people start crying. Gawd. Calm down! We are Liverpool! We. Are. Liverpool. Calm. Down. Augsburg? What is that? Klopp's disponition, PL, cups, UEC, UCL, calm down. We are good enough and Klopp knows best. In Klopp we trust!
Although I have thought Henderson has been on the decline for a while now, his input when he came on reminds me of when I thought we would be fine without Alonso. Alonso left a massive hole in midfield, imbalance. Henderson brought the same influence that Alonso did. Brilliant impact from Henderson despite being in decline now.
If you can't trust klopp now then what is the point of being alive. YNWA 97.
A really good performance from the squad. Experience and fitness played a large part. Klopp and the backroom guys handled the tactics and rotation correctly to get the win required. What it exposed to me was we badly need a cover for Trent. He had a reasonably good game, but half way through the 2nd half his pace was fading and he struggled defensively at times. Half time in the round and we have the advantage. But Inter are a very good team and we shouldn't underestimate them.
hope nobody forgets how brilliant Matip is, just because Konate was bossing it last night. I know what our fans are like!
explain how 2-0 to them gives them the away goal advantage ?? ?
Elliot will start again at Anfield, that will be the measure to see if he has improved. Klopp will keep the faith with Elliot until he gave up on the player, like Karius, like Brewster.
If Elliot improves and overcome, just like Trent after his poor performance at Man Utd in his first start, Elliot will be a boss player for us.
Klopp doesn't thrust such heavy responsibilities for young players if he's not confident of the young player, and if in return, the player responds and performs, Klopp will give even more responsibilities to improve the player.

"'I Was Nervous' – Trent Alexander-Arnold On His First Premier League Start For Liverpool Against Manchester United At Old Trafford
NEIL ANDREWOCT 24, 2021
As Liverpool travel to Old Trafford on Sunday for a huge clash against rivals Manchester United, Trent Alexander-Arnold has spoken about his memories of the fixture that gave him his first Premier League start.
In January 2017, Alexander-Arnold was thrown into the starting XI by Jurgen Klopp as an 18 year old. An unknown quantity at that time, Trent didn't look out of place and hasn't looked back since.
Trent
First Start Nerves
Speaking to liverpoolfc.com, the right-back spoke about how nervous he was going into the game.
"I was in the unknown really, so I didn't really know what to expect,"
"I suppose that's changed."
"Obviously there were a lot more nerves back then. I was nervous, it was the first time I'd ever been to Old Trafford in any capacity so I was wondering what it was going to be like and things like that. To find out I was playing, obviously that's when nerves hit."
Just Another Game
Despite the rivalry between the two clubs and the importance of tomorrow's Premier League clash, the England international admitted those nerves are a thing of the past.
"But as for now, I just try to think of every game as just another game. It's a big game but it's still 90 minutes, the objective is still the same: to go and win and stop the opposition. All that stays the same and I just try to focus on things that I can control.""
I think he brings Bobby on to put 4 in midfield. We have 3 V 5 in midfield so we needed an extra man. Nothing wrong with Jota’s game
One of the best games ever against great opposition. With two teams who went out to win and GAVE EVERYTHING for their fans!!!.
Loved the respect and clapping for each other, in the Tunnel at 1/2 time. I loved the 1st half as it was so entertaining and I adored the 2nd half, Naby and Diaz where up for it. With Jotta, Mo and Mane so unlucky in the game. ELLIOT and Konte were both amazing, along with all the other regulars. What a team, what a game and what win.
Let's hope we tie it up at Anfield, but you cann't right off Inter…..not yet.
YNWA.
I said before this season started, This Liverpool is going to be scary. With Diaz coming in, it's even scarier.
diaz wow waiting for mbappe
Why is paul still backing the owners like they have done nothing wrong? Didnt they furlough the staff? Tried to trademark the liverpool name? Tried to join the super league and was one of thr main owners to get thr ball rolling? Hasnt he forgot about the videos and live streams he had to do last year about us joining the super league? U forgotten about all that mate
