Konate is turning into the monster I imagined he would be, soon strikers will have to avoid all the defenders and not just virgil
There was a report the other day that klopp is over the moon with konate and the work he is doing behind the scenes just because he doesn't play you can bet klopp and coaches are getting him ready because he will be the number 1 partner for virgil next year in my opinion he's been thrown in to some huge games this year old Trafford San siro twice Porto Chelsea away konate is champions league proven he was brilliant for leipzig in the competition he's doing great just remember he's 22 he could be an absolute joke when he gets to 24 25
Trent was good once hendo and naby came on and covered him Harvey will be a superstar but he has to learn to cover trent vital in the system we play
vintage Bobby last night
VVD and Konate were outstanding. Midfield seemed a bit disjointed with too many misplaced passes and taking too many touches when in possession. Great result though.
Naby, Henderson and Diaz made a big difference. Diaz definitely has a touch of Suarez about him. Full of energy and a nightmare for defenders.
Pajack is the GOAT of player ratings!!
Great team ratings Chris YNWA .?
Congratulations to James Milner his 800th Pro game what a legend.
Vote 13 Firmino he killed Inter and won the second balls that the 3 forwards couldn't
Klopp's inspired triple substitution is why he's one of the best managers in the world!
I was really impressed with how Liverpool coped with a different challenge, Inter's back 3 and high pressed wingbacks was really smart but Liverpool just rolled with it and found other ways to win. Scrappy, but a classic CL win
The big problem we have is the fact that Jota can't play centre or on the right which was highlighted once firmino came on and changed the game.
Diaz , jota and mane all play well on the left.
If I was to rate the forwards
Firmino 9
Jota 5
Mane 5
Salah 3 the goal doesn't make up for his constant diving and ineffective play before Firmino killed Inter.
Bobby was man of the match imo.
We could have played for 900 minutes and wouldn't have scored. Salah was rubbish, jota was running aimlessly and mane was ineffective but bring firmino on and he mops up the loose ball that the three forwards wouldn't or couldn't.
Bobby links the play between mid and forwards and pulls defenders in every direction. He scored the important goal which killed Inter. He won this game.
I will say as well as Konate defended we missed Matip.
Matip brings the ball out and we then out number the opposition as we attack which helps the mid. The mid struggled due to that and starting Elliott. Elliott wasn't ready for that as he just doesn't have the experience to compete against wise horrible players like vidal.
Klopp needs to tell Salah to stay upright his diving has a negative effect as he not only loses the ball but he doesn't track back either.
TAA 5 / Konate 8 / VVD 8 / Robbo 8
Fab 6.5 / Harvey 5 / Thiago 7.5 (good defensively)
Mane 6.5. / Jota 5.5 / Salah 6 (5 + 1 for the goal)
Bobby 7.5 / Diaz 7 / Keita 7 / Hendo 8
MOTM: Both the CBs
Mane need to leave this club no one respect him he is under the redar
Harsh on fab I thought he kept us in the game a few times I'd say 8
A big middle finger to all Hendo & Firmino haters or naysayers who also claim to be LFC fans
Klopp was 10 for that triple substitution it changed the game
No more Elliott in the midfield in Champion games cos his in experience to play the like of Vidal that made Trent to Lack control of the game.
Get a dirk kuyt exclusive interview and I will get redmen plus
Based on that game and that game alone, an impartial observer would say that Diaz was a better player than Mane, ignoring all other variables and factors.
Inter did a good job at shutting out Trent tbh
Now this is how you do player ratings talking to you Ste hoare
Hendo started up as a creative right winger in Sunderland. Bruce put him into CM and DM positions and he struggled at first. That move and tough education partly made him the midfielder he is today. Trent should try something similar, be a proper RB next season and learn how to own that space. Make it a priority and treat his forward contributions as a reward for good defensive work.
Ruben Dias?
Bring back the other guy, Chris hasn’t a clue and cares too much about money/views to write out the player ratings so we can remember. Also 6 for Fabinho did you even watch the game?

Bobby Firmino is completely essential for everything happening in the system of this football team. Watch him and you see everything
