Inter Milan are off to another slow start in the UEFA Champions League with just two points through three group stage games. ESPN FC’s Gab Marcotti and Alejandro Moreno break down where things have gone wrong for Antonio Conte’s men following their defeat vs. Real Madrid. Marcotti says Inter should have taken more points from their matches Borussia Monchengladbach and Shakhtar Donetsk. Moreno agrees and believes Antonio Conte’s job could be on the line with another early Champions League exit.

All the investment and this Inter squad looks like a retirement home more than anything else. Conte has that mysterious thing for veteran players that many italian managers seem to have had over the years.
I fully expect him to be sacked this year, Inter's board will not be willing to put up with all the baggage he brings if the results aren't there.

I cannot begin to understand why Conte consistenly struggles in Europe. Even with a solid Juventus squad with the likes of Pogba, Pirlo, Vidal, Marchisio and Tevez, plus a home Europa League Final at the Juventus Stadium. He still somehow couldn't even knock out Benfica in the Semi-Finals of the 13-14 season. Seriously how can ones very impressive League form be that much different to their European form. I can understand a small difference but a massive difference like Conte's. It's just bizarre.
Oh and by the way that exact same season he somehow failed to even qualify for the Champions Leagues last 16 and lost to Galatasaray in the final match in what I remember was pretty snowy conditions.
