Omg Celtic won i support them

  2. Fast forward to 2021 – Celtic completely impotent in Europe. A club that is seen as target practice and an easy 3 points by their European opposition. A club that has withered, shrunk and weakened into a frail little gaggle of confused and overwhelmed players.

  3. These boys were the greatest ever, squad build all from a 30 mile radius, will never ever be forgotten so many legends on that team. Jinky, cesar, the brush, Bobby Murdoch, stevie C, Bobby Lennox, Bertie, Tommy gemmell, Ronnie, Craigy, Willie Wallace. Will never ever be forgotten. The greatest ever team. God bless every single one of them. ?????????????. YNWA.

Back when you have to win the league to enter into the European cup

  12. Played football as it should. Inter anti football. Conned the referee…or was it?…but couldn't play any other way. Italian clubs did it over and over again. If you can't con them, bribe them. And escape any punishment.

As an Inter Milan fan I congratulate Glasgow Celtic. They are the team that I follow in the Scot League.
I also saw them play in Toronto, an exhibition game against Bari of Italy in the early 70's. It was a very good came with the end result being 2-2.

Made a couple of GIFS from the goals here as none of the Lisbon Lions, which is a fuckin scandal. Made a few with Larsson & Jinky before, but tonight made a few with goals fae the 1985 SC Final, 1986 St Mirren game, 1988 SC final goals the Broony tae ;0)

  15. then they lost agaist racing club :v

  16. Gerry Quinn dijo:

Never a penalty ! Love the calm, unemotional reaction of the fans at he end.
This was a day we will never forget.

Scottish football really has gone downhill. Very likely this is the first and last time we’ll see this

  18. Colin Turner dijo:

I might be biased (to Celtic ) but I can't see anyone not getting shivers from this

  19. In the history of the European Cup, this will always be the greatest victory. Greater than Forest or Steaua or Red Star, or the miracle of Istanbul. This is the greatest and will always be. And I’m not a Celtic fan, I’m not even Scottish

  20. I'm a bluenose, but what a wonderful football team, I am very proud of that most excellent team of braw Scotsmen.

Can anybody tell me why this is 31? And 31 of what?

  22. Probably the greatest footballing achievement of any team ever. All born within 30 miles in a tiny nation

I can't believe people still believe this bullshit. There WASN'T a 1967 European cup. The tournament was cancelled due to a UEFA strike. This was just a Celtic publicity stunt. Unfortunately some people actually believe it happened lol. Crazy!

  25. Man I feel we have to go back to a European Cup, Cup Winner's Cup and UEFA Cup. Maybe have some nations have two instead of one team but fuck this 4 England Germany Italy Spain each shit

Despite how good the occasion is and despite how good it is for Celtic let's take a look at the fact it looks like they're playing in some blokes back garden lol

  27. Bopstery dijo:

This will never happen again. It was a fluke.

  28. People tend to forget that Inter were a great team full of accomplished players who had already won the European Cup twice on the trot: Celtic battered them into submission and could have won by a much higher scoreline. A few years later Celtic beat Don Review's great Leeds team in a European semifinal too. Just goes to show the strength of Scottish football in the late sixties and seventies.

  29. watching this in 2020 (corona pandemic)……. surely no one here !!

  30. HUBEMX AB dijo:

Why did they play in the Olympic national stadium instead of the bigger and better old Stadium Da Luz? thx

  31. Paul Weir dijo:

Why was Jock Stein not offered a knighthood? Honours are handed out nowadays like sweeties. Virginia Wade won Wimbledon in '77 but also the Australian in '72 and when winning the inaugural US Open in '68 she beat the 3rd,2nd and no.1 seeds in succession to be champion, without losing a set. No accolade for her but Kelly Holmes……..!!!!!!!!?
